The new paintings by Amanda Clark. Miniature is the latest inspiration.

Some of the new paintings that I have been working on during the late Summer and Autumn have become smaller, and with a black chunky frame, they look so inviting and mysterious.  Like little snippets of dreams.
These are a few images that I have to show you for now.  Many more to come!

New 'Heart' prints.

It has been so long since my last post, every day has been wonderfully busy painting, fulfilling orders for shops, making a new collection of giclee prints from my original paintings and I'm starting to create a new online art gallery.  In this post, I wish to show you the new 'Heart' prints. These are printed on A4 matt archival paper with archival inks and hand embellished with touches of gold leaf.
These are now ready and listed in my etsy shop.

Bluebell Wood and new paintings.

The beautiful days of mid Spring warms my body and soul for the blissful Summer ahead and as the days become longer we can spend much more time enjoying walks through the woods and along the edges of meadows.  Bluebells fill the woodland floor creating a carpet of blues and new leaves of ferns uncurling. The jewel like greens and creamy pink blossoms are gifts from the trees for the birds that are singing their celebration of Spring time once again.

Natural archways and tiny bridges over streams take me deeper into an emerald and sapphire dream.

Images and sights of this magical world start to manifest inspirations for new paintings.

A gift of an early Spring after the storms of England.

The February storms have passed and these first few days of March have been amazing for the early buds and blossoms of the hedgerow and woods.  While walking the tiny country lanes I find that everywhere has  come alive with the first flowers of Spring. Snowdrops are fading now to create the space for daffodils and celandines and the first of the cherry blossom are in company of singing birds calling their mate home for the evening.
The soft Spring light after the rains has inspired new paintings of nature as it returns to new life.

The fresh greens and softness of creamy pinks against the dark branches of trees.

Beautiful calm, sunny days with whispers of mist over the water.
